WHY MAGNETS???

We built this site so that those who have mutual interest in magnets will hopefully benefit from some of the information that we have gathered.  Specifically, we will concentrate on the two most prominant, interesting and life enhancing of the uses we have found.

Ok, the first one is a no brainer.  MAGNETS in general, are some of the most fun and economical TOYS available on this Planet.  We have yet to meet a person, no matter how economically challenged they were as a child, who didn't play with a magnet at one time or another.  Remember that little game we all had with the stick magnet and the iron filings where you were supposed to make a beard of iron filings on the weird looking guys face? 
And who among us hasn't played with the magnets we find stuck all over peoples refrigerators?  We KNOW you remember doing this stuff.  Anyway, magnets are just plain
